ozdor
A safety copy of your WhatsApp chats, in your own Google Drive.
ozdor is an Android app that copies the backup WhatsApp makes on your phone into your own Google Drive every night, and lets you read your chats in the app, even if WhatsApp stops working for you.
- Your chats stay yours. They are locked with a key only you hold. Nobody else can read them: not us, not Google.
- In your own Drive. ozdor only sees the folder it makes there, nothing else in your Drive.
- It follows WhatsApp. What you delete in WhatsApp leaves the copy about a week later.
- Readable on your phone, in the app, with or without WhatsApp.
Who it's for. ozdor is a private project, used by one family and its close friends. It is not available to the public yet. It works with the standard WhatsApp app on one Android phone; what it works with.
ozdor is not a WhatsApp product and is not endorsed by WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
